Another Lazy Day Post

After a full, busy week, we're having a lazy long weekend.  Everybody is getting into the lazy act:

Now, don't get the wrong idea...Maddie's not lazy, really.  Just tired from playing with one of her Christmas boxes:

The best part of Christmas is the boxes, I think.

Though the week was busy it was enjoyable.  We discovered a wonderful new dessert.  Pear Upside-Down Cake:

Just as scrumptious as it looks.   We got this through the same YouTube Show that gave us the Shrimp Tortillitas recipe.  Here's the video by Mark Bittman

The pear dessert looks nummy. And a nice alternative to all the apple stuff that one tends to make.
