...and I'll say it again: I'm amazed that a micro-organism can make such a mockery of my place in the food chain. Sinus infection = ick. Maddie is being a wonderful Nurse-Kitty. Gotta get her a little paper nurse hat. Enjoy the pic of a lovely cat.

Hanging out in the sun
Maddie's had a nice few days, hanging out in the sun on the cedar chest.
She does seem to enjoy it in here. She did give us quite a scare during the Little Snow of '10, though. LadyRanger and I had stepped onto the front porch that evening to enjoy the snow falling through the trees. Seems Little Miss Maddie sneaky-pawed her way behind us out onto the porch as well. never saw her or heard her out there. We went back in after a few minutes, shut the door and realized that we couldn't find her. Opened the door (mildly panic-stricken) and there she was, enjoying the snowfall from our covered porch. Didn't seem to mind that she'd caused a couple of cardiac incidents inside, either. Guess she's not as opposed to snow as we'd thought. Just as long as she can watch it and not walk in it, I suppose. We've been careful to make sure that she's happy enough inside that she doesn't want to wander. Here she is, enjoying her time in the sun.
The Little Snow of '10
Oh dear...it snowed....he's gonna be on another "take the cat out into the cold" again. I don't know why I put up with him. <sigh>
Don't worry Maddie. I've learned my lesson. It's inside, nice and warm, for you.
Ah. You've learned. Good. You may pat my head now.
Right. And treats on the way, too.
It's been a nice snow. Nice and pretty and not staying around too long. Very civilized.
UnderMotivated
This is an undermotivated post about being undermotivated. 'Nuff said.
Maddie joins us in undermotivation, wanting to neither read nor look out the window, both usual pasttimes for her.
<sigh> I could go on, but I don't feel like it.
