I really appreciate the kind words after we gave Lucy back. I was hesitant to write about it, but I didn't think you'd fail to notice if I just stopped blogging about her. Anyways, your support and good wishes for Lucy are a salve to our conscience.
I've got a few pics of the Tiny Tortie Terror off of my phone now. They're phone pics, so perhaps of lesser quality than my usual, but that's on me, not on the model.
This is the first pic from the shelter.
Here she is playing w/the donut on the floor.
Neither Maddie nor Ivy ever got into this toy. They'd give me this look that said "you know this is pointless, right?" Lucy disagreed.
Here she is, having discovered the back of the couch for the first time.
This is probably one of the best shots I have of her face. She wasn't often still enough for me to get a good shot.
This last one was taken the day we took her back. She could be a remarkably snuggly girl, but I'll remember the midnight crazies more than I remember this.
I've been monitoring the Humane Society website. She's not been listed on it since we dropped her off, despite the fact that they've listed other new cats. I am hoping she's already been adopted. If I ever find out, I'll let you know.
Thanks again. Your kindness made this less painful than it might have been. We are grateful.
