...things here are slowly fitting together. Ivy, who, for a fixed female has a sizable pair, has taken to doing a lot of wandering 'bout the house. She's hit every room, and seems to be comfortable enough to crash out just about anywhere she pleases. She's eaten and drunk from Maddie's bowls and has had a nap on the bed that Maddie shares with us. Most surprising was when we found Ivy here:
It may look like a red blob, but it's really Maddie's Papasan! Maddie spends more time in this chair than in any other chair in the house. We were amazed that old, none-too-steady-on-her-pins Ivy could actually get up into it. Fortunately, no <ahem> issues arose from this. Maddie simply hopped back in and reclaimed her spot once Ivy had enjoyed it enough.
Perhaps this is the harbinger of peace to come. Don't mind cat opera as long as I feel there is no real threat of violence.
Anyway, Maddie sends a Happy Christmas Greeting out to all cats and their pet humans. Maddie, Ivy, LadyRanger and I wish you a wonderful holiday of your choice, and many happy years to come!
Nobody's looking? TREE WATER! WOOHOO! And to all, a Good Night!
Gotta love that rare breed, the Papasan Cat!
I have fallen in love with Maddie, what a pretty cat she is. She looks somewhat like my Shaggy, But with a regal air about her. Merry Christmas to all of you! SS&S & Mom Lynne
