Wow. According to the stats that Typepad provides me, there have been 10,000 visitors to this little page over the course of the last year and a half. A drop in the digital bucket, I know, but still I am deeply grateful to everyone who has dropped in and everyone who has put a link to this page on their own home site. I know you don't drop in for my scintillating wit, so why don't we do a quick recap of the reasons you do come by:
This is one of the earliest pics we have of Maddie. She's about two, and still settling in, and still getting used to the camera.
This one was taken when we first found Ivy about a year ago. She was sick and starving so, of course, we fed her. The next morning she was right where we'd left her, so we took her to the vet, got her fixed up, and brought her home.
This is a favorite pic. This is the fluffiest tail in the west. This is also a familiar view. Usually about waking up time at a distance of about 4 inches.
Ivy'd been with us for about 20 minutes when I took this picture. She's still wondering what to make of us.
Maddie does like to play with bubbles, though she doesn't know how they escape once she has them.
This is from about 8 months ago, after Ivy got comfortable with us. You can see she's much healthier, if still thin.
Of course, both cats like tummy-up napping.
Could it be that they will one day get along??
We're hoping, but we're not holding our breath. Stop by here as often as you like to check in. Further bulletins as events warrant.
Thanks for visiting.
Well, ok, the kitties are one of the reasons. But the other reason is that you write well!
Your blog is a pleasure to read. :)
