Parole

We've been giving Maddie some more supervised parole time from the Mewlag.  She's gotten pretty good about sitting around with us.  She's still given to jumping down from the couch before we can catch her, but so far there seems to be no harm done.  Here she is enjoying a lazy Sunday morning on the couch ( with hot-off-the-digital-camera pics)

Maddie still limps upon rising but it's improving some.  We're taking care to give her lots of still time in the Mewlag.  We've also got her age on our side, I guess.  She's getting to the point that naps are a major part of her day.  We think that's good for the healing process too.

It will be nice to have her running free about the house again, though.  2 weeks 'til the big exam.  Thank you for all your good wishes.

How nice it must feel to stretch out on the comfy cushions of the couch instead of in the harsh cold environs of the Mewlag. That's gotta make a cat feel almost back to normal! Looks like her velvety fur is starting to grow back.

Hi, we came by from Carnival of the Cats. We don't know why Maddie isn't supposed to be jumping but we assume she had an injury or surgery. We hope she is healing well.
