Today we have a special Guest Cat!
This is Bikkie. That's short for Biscuit. Bikkie belongs to (or is the proud owner of) my friend Peter and his wife Yuki. The three of them live in Osaka. Bikkie is about 5 or 6 months old. He and his siblings were found in a box in a park by some ladies who rescued them. Apparently, Bikkie has no shortage of charm, thus the new home. As with all cats, he likes spare bottle caps better than the toys that have cost money.
Bikkie seems to have a good bit of the Japanese Bobtail in him. Hardly surprising. His tail is surprisingly mobile when he plays, and has earned him the nick-name "Mr. Wiggles". I'm sure he'll forgive Peter that nick-name at some point. ;)
Bikkie is unafraid of water, at times wandering into the shower. Not a bad trait, but it does render the admonitory water-spray ineffective. Don't know what we'd do without Maddie's dislike of the spray-bottle, but I suppose we'd figure something out....
Bikkie's eyes really are that orange. With a melanin spot. I think he's quite a handsome beast. I may have to ask for an exceptionally good portrait as a Halloween post alongside Ivy's usual appearance.
Thank you, Yuki and Peter, for allowing your cat to grace this humble blog. We here are all grateful.
Dude. Uncool. This is my blog. No other cats allowed.
Okay. Not everyone is grateful. But most of us are.
Magnificent golden eyes, what a charmer! Don't tell Maddie, but I've a soft spot for the black and whites ;)
PS - hope the icky sicknesses have gone away!!
