...to the cedar chest at the foot of the bed. Maddie has rediscovered one of her favorite morning spots.
She always enjoys (and Ivy always enjoyed) this particular spot.
You *had* to bring her up, didn't you?
I've always liked the light through this window. And a cat in said light? Bonus. Pity the sun moves, the earth rotates and we won't have the light for long. Guess we'll have to appreciate it while we've got it.
Wait. What?! This won't last forever?? I find that.....disturbing. I'm going to have to think about that....
I've always admired how cats seem to assume that the things they enjoy will last forever. Yet, when their pleasure is ended, they don't often sulk about it. They just go about the business of finding something else to enjoy. There's a certain amount of wisdom there.
Ahhh the cedar chest! Ivy did indeed enjoy that particular spot and we remember fondly the standoffs
that ensued over that particular spot of prime sunning territory!

Yes, sun puddles are wonderful. So. . . Maddie didn't like Ivy?

And following sun puddles through the house is also fun!

One can never have too many sunny spots for napping.
