The good news here is that Maddie's hair chewing, yanking extravaganza is due to seasonal allergies. No one is quite sure what is causing the skin irritation, but we do have a cure. Prednisone. W00t! Maddie's already slowed the chewing down dramatically, and we're sure it'll be done with by the end of the meds. Won't be too long before everything grows back and she's at full-power-fluffy!

That is great news!
I've heard of some pets who take a light dose of Benadryl seasonally. I've also heard of prednisone for it too. As I understand it they both calm the system down. Feel Better soon Maddie!
