At least for Maddie. It's sheet changing day. It usually happens during the start of the morning sun-puddle time. Maddie, long past the days when she enjoyed playing lump, or cave-kitty, under the sheets, has to wait for peace to be restored before she clambers upon the bed. She's found the back of the couch answers nicely.
Harrumph. This is not optimal, but it will have to do. The things I put up with...
Once the bed is restored to its normal pacific self Maddie returns. Of course, she often lounges atop the blanket stack on the chest.
She waits for the sun to strike the bed full-on before she slides over. From there on, it's a slow process of rolls, twists and short walks as the sunpuddle makes it's slippery way across. Maddie ends up by the pillows by early afternoon.
One of the benefits of this time of year, what with no leaves out, is that the sun can, in the late afternoon, come in the other window and shine, once again on the blanket stack.
Notice the different angle of the light.
It doesn't seem to phase her one bit, though.
Hmmm...the sun keeps arranging to shine on Maddie. Maybe it really *does* revolve around this cat.
Makes sense to me.
