Maddie died today.
She hadn't been eating or drinking as normal the last week or so. LadyRanger took her to the vet today and got the grim news. Untreatable cancer.
We could not ask her to linger.
Mention her, and us, in your prayers, if you would be so kind.
We miss her so much.
There will be another post is a week or two.
We come from the Cat Blogosphere and we're sorry for your loss. We send you tender purrs and gentle headbonks. Purrs

I am so very sorry that you had to help Maddie to the Bridge. It was the kindest thing you could do. I send hugs and the kitties send comforting purrs.

oh we are rather heartbroken to read your sad news about your precious Maddie cat going so quickly to the rainbow bridge. You see, we understand all too well this sadness in your heart right now...our beautiful girl left us much the same way a few weeks ago...they say time is a tonic...so we wait...cry some and wait some more.
Much love to you all...Karla

Oh, noooo!
Dear friend...
I just got home from work, this evening and learned from Zoolatry the news.
It saddens me greatly to hear this news.
You and Maddie have been such great friends and supporters of the Carnival of the Cats over the years and not being able to share Maddie's adventures with the pet blogosphere will be such a great loss.
She was such a beautiful girl and how you shared her with us all made it clear she was very much loved and cared for.
I have absolutely no doubt that she was met at the entrance to Rainbow Bridge by my dearly missed Mr. Nikita and many of her friends and fans who went before her.
Miss Elvira will be posting the Carnival (late again) tomorrow evening and will dedicate this edition to Maddie.

Once again, John & Lady Ranger, I am so saddened to hear of Maddie's passing. She was such a lovely gal, full of spunk, vim & vinegar. Gorgeous to behold, especially as that sun ray touched her just right. I know you hearts are aching but please know too that you did the right thing by her, as you said...not asking her to linger for your sake, but to pass quietly knowing she was loved every minute. Peace be with you. (((hugs))) Lynne, Shaggy & Scout
