There is a cat, a sleek tuxedo, who uses our property as a thru-way. We've seen him many times. He doesn't dawdle, just passes by, and we've no pic of him. He seems healthy and fit so we presume that he has a home.
He walks on down our embankment and jumps off our 4 foot wall, proceeds across the street and into the stand of trees by the apartments and the creek.
Coming back, he jogs up our front steps and onto our porch, by the house and out the back yard.
We've seen him do this many times, and actually caught evidence on film after our recent snow.
This is the "up the front steps" part.
Here's the backyard part. There are two tracks here. One from his trip down, and the other his return journey.
If I ever get a pic of the actual cat I'll be sure to post it. He's a handsome fella.
You may remember that I wrote about the passing of Puddin' Cat, or Matilda, as we called her. She belonged to our neighbor Ed. I also wrote about his adoption of Puddin' 2.0. She is a lovely, long-haired, confident, talkative cat. I've tried to be all ninja and sneak a pic of her when they are out in the small yard between our houses. Puddin' is curious and quick, so this is the best I've done to date.
I'm sure I'll do better in the future. She's a lovely girl and Ed's happier than a pig in mud.
