The Red Tassel has become Daisy's favorite human-powered toy. She is instant action when we haul it out of the closet. If she can wriggle into the closet she gets the tassel out for us. She loves to play with that tassel. For parts of her training session, she likes to run around the house chasing it. When she catches it, she carries it in her mouth to one of her favorite spots, like the papasan chair.

I follow her around holding the stick while she's carrying the tassel. Seems kinda like walking with a leash. I make no claim as to which of us is in control of the walk, though. She also likes to take her prey and hop on the kitchen stool. A safe, elevated spot to survey the surrounding countryside while she consumes her kill.

Ain't no wandering neighborhood hyena gonna snag MY kill....
After she's carried the tassel around a bit, she sometimes likes to work on her ground game. The tassel is transported to a comfy spot where play continues.

She's usually successful.

Well DUH!!
Oftentimes we head to the bedroom to continue her workout. Sometimes she seems pretty casual about the whole play session. Relaxed. Complacent. Nonchalant, even.

Heh. I got this. Literally. Got. This. Silly. Tassel.
Sometimes, she's a bit more animated. Enthused. Exercised. Motivated. Totally (to use the opposite of nonchalant) ....Chalant.

ARRGGHHH!!!!!!!!!! DIE! DIE! DIE DIE DIE YOU MISERABLE RAT TASSEL! DIE!!!
She can get kinda worked up about it.
And that's one of the reasons we love her.
