Daisy has always been a most playful cat. She was a dynamo as a kitten and her energy level has not noticeably decreased. She has matured somewhat, and is taking an introductory interest in entertainments for more mature kitties. She's decided that short, intermittent snuggles are a good thing. 5 minutes on a lap or the odd pick-up for a face rub is acceptable. She's also become more interested in comfy places. She has recently been acquainting herself with that most favored of cat-havens, the blanket stack.

She doesn't stick that leg out unless she's seriously comfortable and settled in. We have it on good authority that the blanket stack is totally the place to be for comfort. Maddie loved it.

as did Ivy.

Daisy seems to be more open to the idea of relaxing there, now that she's almost three.

This isn't so bad, I s'pose... I may try it again later, just to make sure....
Daisy also expressed a mild interest in a different entertainment the other night. On a whim, whilst Daisy was sitting between me and my computer monitor, I clicked on a lovely video of "8-hours of birds for your cat to watch". I was probably, in the long run, more interested in it than Daisy was but she watched for a bit. She even pawed at the screen several times. I think the lack of smells and wind in her whiskers made it a less than fulfilling adventure for her. She did watch for a bit, though.

There's not going to be any blood, is there? <sigh>....there never is.... <sigh>
I realize this video will NOT earn appreciation from Da Tabbies. I can only beg their pardon and assure them that Daisy's intentions were murderous. I have also found a different video, which is probably more to their liking. Fish.
That's it for this post. We hope that you all have a grand week ahead!
