Daisy was quite helpful this week. Our old printer gave up the ghost recently and we got a new one. Daisy helped with the unpacking....

Uff! This is like when you buy scissors and they package the scissors in a package you need scissors to open! I'm almost through! Gimme a minute!
...and she helped with the installation.

Make sure your megabytes are hooked up to the HDMI and Bauds and CPU are stored on the SSHD. Don't forget to plug in the WYSIWYG to the video drivers, either. And does this have two black cartridges? One of 'em is unnecessary...pitch it! And what're tall these extra wires doing in here? Out they go!!!!
She was quite helpful when I erred during the whole process.

You're...doing...it....WRONG!!
She was kinder than she needed to be. Only a wee pint or two of blood was shed.
We got the new machine working and we're pretty happy with it. Of course, it's a printer. I'm sure it'll get the lay of the land over a week or two and then become unmanageable, just like every other printer we've ever had. But hey, for now, it's all good.
After her gig as our IT cat? Daisy did what all good IT guys do. She chilled out and blamed the user.

Sorry, guy. The install was perfect. Any problem is on your end....

We are sorry, but we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls. Please hold and we will answer your call in the order in which it was received. Probably in August. Maybe. Right?

I could get used to this gig. Nice salary schedule, nice sunny call center, nice benefits and all the pettin's I want. Yeah. Nice gig. Time to put some people on eternal hold and have a nap.

I don't suppose that I'd mind being on hold if this cat was on the other end of the line.
Have a good week ahead, all!
