A Valentine's Picture of Love

There are few people I respect like I respect our neighbor, Ed.  He's been a great neighbor to us.  I'm sure he has his faults, but he's been a great neighbor.  And not many people care for their animals like he cares for his.  They eat before he does.  

Here's a picture of a common sight from our wavy-glass windows.  Ed playing his guitar for the pleasure of his cat Puddin'.  Nadine is probably wandering, but Puddin' knows that a private concert is not something to miss.

Always makes us happy to see them there.

A Dreary Day

It is cold, wet, and windy here at ChezRanger.  We already have a fire in the fireplace and hot coffee in the mugs.  Time to settle in for a long, cold winter.  Daisy is setting the pace for us, stretched out on the back of the couch, watching the weather.

ummmmm....you do know it's going to be sunny and in the 60s tomorrow, right?

Dang....was just starting to look forward to a wee bit of winter.
